Services and Allowances for the Carer and/or Disabled Persons.
Make sure you are getting all you are entitled to.....
You should take a look at this site offered by the DWP (Department for Work and Pensions) There could be something else you are entitled to.
I have it on good authority that a Petition is being placed in to the Prime Ministers Office regarding the Carer of more than one disabled or ill person should receive additional allowances. At the moment you can only claim for one Allowance per household. This is an absolutely criminal state to place a Carer. I, in fact, care for my disabled wife, my 79 year old mother-in-law and occasionally (more and more) my 79 year old father-in-law.
Imagine how much that sort of care would cost the Government, if they were all in a home. Bearing in mind that one foster child in "secure accomodation" can cost as much as £8000.00 per week!
It is an insult to the hard work carers of all ages do to ensure the safety and wellbeing of relatives or friends.
I hope the site helps.

TOO MANY ACHES AND PAINS?
If you suffer from aches and pains it is important to make sure you have established whether these pains are superficial or critical, that is to say, as a result of a knock or bump or are more serious and may be some disabling condition.
Never be afraid or unsure about speaking to your doctor. As the saying goes, "it is better to be sure". Believe me it is always better, my wife and I went five years before we sort help from our doctor, to find out that she was suffering from "fibro-myalgia, angina and high blood-pressure" and I had damage to two areas of my spine and more recently asthma. She ended up in a wheel-chair for three years, only more recently (six years on) being able to walk some times, with great pain.
Never sell yourself short.
