SNOWING IN OCTOBER.
Today, I woke to the ground outside covered in a white blanket of snow. It made me think of all the less fortunate folk who are probably wandering outside and searching for somewhere to survive the harsh weather. How do these people do it? How do they survive and what has driven these people to a life of uncertainty and, often, fear.
There is always an element of admiration in my thoughts of these folk, as they manage to survive rigours that would test the hardened survivalist. Then you have to wonder what it was that drove them away from a "normal life". Was it hardship or abuse at home, was it misunderstandings between parent and child? or could it be that the increasing responsibilities of running a modern home has forced the occupant to the critical decision to leave it all behind?
What is the cost, not only the human cost but the cost to the credibility of society, family ties and unlawful behaviour?
How much longer can we carry on, in this madness of treatment of the consequence instead of the cause? For to long bureaucracy and financial analysis has dominated the availability of facilities for our young folk and support centres for our elderly. The consequence of this is the breakdown of confidence in Authority and Officialdom.
Can we drag ourselves away from the edge of further Turmoil and Public Breakdown??
What do you say?????

TOO MANY ACHES AND PAINS?
If you suffer from aches and pains it is important to make sure you have established whether these pains are superficial or critical, that is to say, as a result of a knock or bump or are more serious and may be some disabling condition.
Never be afraid or unsure about speaking to your doctor. As the saying goes, "it is better to be sure". Believe me it is always better, my wife and I went five years before we sort help from our doctor, to find out that she was suffering from "fibro-myalgia, angina and high blood-pressure" and I had damage to two areas of my spine and more recently asthma. She ended up in a wheel-chair for three years, only more recently (six years on) being able to walk some times, with great pain.
Never sell yourself short.
